Services : Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R)

The DVP&R formalises the test plan to be followed in a development project.
The plan includes details of test methods, quantities, pass criteria and categorises the
parts production route to be used for each test sample.
Test results are also referenced to give a single source of information.

The DVP can be used during customer and supplier negotiations to agree the type, amount
and responsibility for the testing to be undertaken.
This is also an excellent way of tracking the 'hidden' costs of development, should additional
samples be requested after commercial terms have been agreed.

Without DVP&R companies rely on individual engineers to take decisions based on experience.
Customers then find that they view different levels of competency depending on who is
 involved with their project.
The risk of failing to have a working prototype at the scheduled time can become very high.

 WE CAN:

Review customer requirements to establish a mandatory test plan.
Review DFMEA / past project experience to establish a minimum internal test plan.
Review products to establish which design change features require which parameters to
 be re-tested.
Review products for those parameters that can be verified by archive data
 (non-design specific).
