Services : International Material Data System / MDSystem

The EU directive 2000/53/EC on End of Life Vehicles prompted a number of OEM's to join
together in commissioning a database of substances used in each component.
The responsibility for data entry has been passed down the supply chain.
The key criteria is that all information has to be by weight.

Working within MDSystem.com allows all parties to access a database of substances and
avoids confusion arising from descriptive terms, since in most cases the Chemical Abstracts
Society (CAS) number can be used.
In some cases, MDSystem proposals are now a condition of product approval.

Although basic information is usually available in an organisation through the costing
department, the presentation in MDSystem requires data to be formatted correctly.
External training only covers the IT aspects of the work and does not help a company to
handle their secrecy agreements or to facilitate their suppliers' involvement.

  WE CAN:

 Register your company in MDSystem.
Discuss sensitive information issues with you, your customers and your suppliers.
 Create raw data for entry.
Create MDS's and propose them to your customers within MDSystem.
Contact your suppliers and explain what is required.
